Losing half of a species in 25 years — particularly one as important as the lion — calls for action by all.

It calls for coordinated action and the best efforts from the smallest grassroots organizations to the largest multinational conservation non-profits.

It calls for collaboration amongst the donor community to invest more in lion conservation.

It calls for the public and political will within African lion range countries as well as in western countries whose investments can help restore the King of the Beasts.

Such collaboration is a hallmark of the Lion Recovery Fund.

The following organizations are collaborators in lion recovery—as implementers of projects, as scientific advisors to the LRF, or as thought leaders that drive the direction of the investments.

We thank all of our corporate, institutional, and individual donors for helping to make lion conservation possible.
